I finally got the chance to see Black Swan over the weekend and it was nothing short of all the talk—dark. But between the spooky make-you-jump scenes, I was in a serious state of nostalgia watching Natalie Portman break in her point shoes, warm up at the bar and throw on layers of warm-ups. Since my mom was a dancer as well, we waited to see the movie together. We were so excited about seeing it, we sat down in the wrong theatre, only realizing it was obviously not Black Swan when Ed Helms appeared to be the main character—not that he wouldn’t make an amazing white swan. After seeing all the amazing tutus and costumes from the movie I had to have some feathers in my wardrobe. I found these amazing black feather earrings and had to have them.
