Enjoy Cupcakes and Saarloos & Sons above
A couple girlfriends and I decided to spice up our rainy TGIF with a little day trip to the wine country of Santa Ynez. Our first stop Coquelicot, where we tasted some wines before grabbing lunch at the Los Olivos Cafe. Pizza, salad and a cheese plate later we were ready for something sweet. Lucky for us there are some genius bakers who decided to mix wine and cupcakes. Enjoy Cupcakes and Saarloss & Sons winery share an incredibly stylish tasting room where you can sample some cupcakes—like Citrus Sauvignon Blanc and Olallie Berry Rose—and wash it down with a Pinot. We got a sampling of six different flavors, Chocolate Blackberry Syrah stole my heart but Smores was a close tie.
