Since it was so foggy again this weekend in Santa Barbara—seriously sun, stop playing games it’s July!—and the beach was out of the question we decided to take a quick road trip over the hill to a friend’s ranch in Santa Ynez. We picked up some tri-tip sandwiches from the Los Olivos Market and set up shop by the pool and soaked up the much needed sunshine and heat. As if the day couldn’t get any better, a batch of fresh baked chocolate chip macadamia nut cookies awaited us in the kitchen. I wore this white cotton sundress that I scored on sale ($15!), which I know I’ll live in once (ahem) it starts getting hot at the beach.
