Raspberry Mango Smoothie

I’m notoriously running out the door in the mornings a little late with an empty stomach. Consequently this leads to an unnecessary trip to Starbucks where the only option is a pastry or a sweet coffee drink, which results in a sugar rush that doesn’t hold me over until lunch—not so awesome. So I’ve recently started a smoothie routine, which doesn’t take much time and I can pour the rest in a to-go cup and be on my way. My favorite combination (thanks to a tip from a friend) includes, frozen mangos, raspberries, orange juice, honey and low-fat plain yogurt. It’s also the perfect snack on a hot summer day. For weekends, roll out the red carpet and garnish with some fresh strawberries or raspberries and pair with cinnamon french toast.
