With the arrival of November and a time change on our hands, the nights are darker and colder calling for comfort food, hot beverages and nights spent by a blazing fire. We picked up some fire wood and fixings for hot toddys to prepare ourselves for the first premature dusk since changing the clocks—it’s always a little jolting at first. Instead of my usual worn-in tee shirt and sweats I decided to step it up a notch for the night at home.
