One of my favorite areas in our house is this wall of framed surf photographs by two local artist, Will Adler and Morgan Maassen. I used an old broken up wood mantel I found at an antique sale as shelves, drift wood collected at the beach and a silver milagro from Mexico to fill up an otherwise empty space. I love that it’s one of the first things you see when walking in the front door and while it may be the middle of winter, the beachy images transport me to a hot Summer day.
