The older I get, the more I start to realize how much I love California and all it has to offer. Growing up in Santa Barbara was a dream to say the least, but it was only when I left (to later return) did I realize how special of a place it truly is. One person who clearly shares a passion for the Santa Barbara landscape and lifestyle is artist Hank Pitcher. All of his paintings capture a serene rhythm that instantly conjures up a sense of romance for nature and days spent oceanside. I was lucky enough to get a tour of his studio and chat with him about his process, inspiration and past.
