Gift Guide 2019 | My Wish List

November 24, 2019

Every year the gift guide you guys seem to love the most is my personal list of things I’m coveting. So here it is, a few things I’ve had my eye on over the last year, or years, let’s be honest. I hope this list inspires gifts for someone important in your life!

1.

One thing I’ve been seriously hunting for is art that I love. Since we moved into our house (a year and a half ago) I’ve been discovering artists and following them primarily on Instagram. The Cartorialist was one, which we were so excited to hang two of her pieces on our walls recently, and Kristen Giorgi who paints the most beautiful abstract figurative paintings in calming color palettes.

2.

I discovered The Citizenry recently and can’t get enough of their soft bedding, furniture and home accessories. I’ve loved adding black accessories here and there to match the modern vibe of our house and I can’t stop revisiting this simple vase

3.

I’ve had my eye on this pretty pearl and gold shell pendant necklace by Beatrice Valenzuela since summertime. You know it’s something you want when you’re still thinking about it months later. It makes me think of sandy days on the beach and I love the idea of layering some of my other gold jewelry with it.

4.

I’ve been working on changing up our family room since the summer and couldn’t pick an accent chair for the longest time. Finally we found this Yates chair from Studio McGee and it’s SO good. It also needs a buddy we’ve decided (space wise two would look better) and I’m itching to get the second one. Also they have a Black Friday sale happening already and the entire site is 20% off with code: snowwhatfun.

5.

The love for Beatrice Valenzuela continues. I bought the Sandalia shoes in nude and they’re so comfortable and versatile I’m coveting the black pair too now.

6.

Somehow I was living under a rock for a while and was missing out on all the Mango goodness that exists these days. Budget friendly with a designer look. Right now they’re having a pretty good sale,  everything is 30% off for Black Friday, and I have my eye on this entire look

7.

Sometimes I prefer a more subtle approach to scent for my everyday and find body wash to be the answer. Byredo Bal D’Afrique is one of my all time favorites and I’m due for a body wash re-fill.

8.

And because I love Byredo so much (worn Gypsy Water and Bal d’Afrique for the past two years) I’d love to add their newest perfume to my collection, Sundazed

9.

I got my first two pieces from Elisa Solomon this month and literally haven’t taken them off since they arrived. The Oval Signet Ring is light and fits so perfectly on my pinky with a bit of diamonds for sparkle and has been a favorite everyday piece of jewelry. I’ve been talking (a lot) about getting a second piercing but decided to wait until baby comes but when I do, these Mini Moon studs will be the first thing I add to my mix. Right now the entire site is 25% off, time to get shopping!

10.

When I bought the Jenni Kayne Black Shearling Mules, I was torn between getting the new Shearling Slide Sandals or the Mules in tan. I’ve decided I wouldn’t mind having all three in my wardrobe since all I seem to wear these days are the black mules I ended up going with. I’ve become a bit obsessed with all things Jenni Kayne this year—I end up wearing her pieces on the regular. Make sure to take advantage of my 20% discount: SAMANTHA20.

11.

There is really nothing better than a well made leather weekender that only gets better with age. Well actually there is, when the leather bag is from Parker Clay who helps employ and empower women and mothers in Ethiopia. Todd has this bag in a rich caramel color and I get a little jealous every time he gets to use it. I have my eye on a black one for myself. Right now they are having their biggest Sale of the Year. Save 25% off sitewide and 30% off orders $250+.

12.

When Elin was born I spoiled myself with a Jennifer Fisher burnished cuff with her name written on it. I wear it everyday and consider my most treasured piece in my jewelry box. With baby girl number deux, I have my eye on a couple rings from Jane Pope Jewelry—the Double Trillion diamond ring to represent my two girls and the Three Stone Diamond and Sapphire Ring representing all three of us.
