Every year the gift guide you guys seem to shop the most is my own personal wish list. Also by far the easiest one to put together! Todd likes to tell me I’m the hardest person to shop for so I send him this link almost every year. Like always I love a little mix of jewelry, clothes and tabletop the most. Cozy outerwear (especially since we’re headed to Sun Valley soon) and things that I’ll use and love everyday. So here are some favorites that are at the tippy top of my list.
Something Fuzzy and Nice
I think I’ll forever gravitate towards warm neutral shades (partly because it just goes with my hair) but I have to say lately that shearling look is really working with my color palette and I can’t get enough. Nili Lotan makes a gorgeous coat that looks so cozy, Dôen made a reversible one (for the littles too, I can’t handle the cuteness) and Jenni Kayne just got in their longer Shearling Yves Coat that is high on my wishlist. Side note: you can use my code Samantha15 for 15% off anything Jenni Kayne (in-store and online).
The Ultimate Bag
I have to say I’m pretty rough on my handbags these days and my criteria is that it has to be durable, big enough for all the things (diapers, wipes, wallet, snacks, water bottle etc. etc. ) and timeless. I just love this Nili Lotan leather bag because it is all of that. And on the flip side I have my heart set on this Porto Pouch for evenings or days when I’m kid-free and really only need my phone, wallet and sunglasses.
Rings and Things
This time last year I did a jewelry event with Madison of Fewer Finer and spied these two rings stacked that she was wearing on her pinky with engraved names (her parents). I’ve been coveting them ever since and love the look of stacked pinky rings. Also the shape and style of the Kismet Ring is so minimal and simple which I love.
Black Basics
Luxurious black basics are something I will always lean towards—especially when it comes to gifting. I realized I have a lot on my list right now so here it goes: Eres bathing suit, Jenni Kayne Cashmere Turtleneck, Bassike Cotton dress, Toteme Black Loafers and Illesteva Sunglasses (I have this same style in champagne and love them).
Home Sweet Home
We entertain a lot—hosting Thanksgiving for the third year in a row!—and I’ve really come to love and lust over some beautiful tabletop finds. From textiles and candlestick holders to handmade ceramics (make sure to check out some pieces over on Wrel Living) and plates my collection is definitely growing. I’m always inspired by all things Heather Taylor, have too much fun hunting on Etsy, always go back for beautiful Jenni Kayne neutrals and recently discovered The Last Line. Including more home finds below.
Sneakers For Mom
Let’s be real I spend 80% of my time in sneakers, 100% of my time in flats or boots—but definitely flat boots. Comfort is everything. I’ve been needing to upgrade my sneaker situation so I rounded up some that I’ve had my eye on here: Loewe Suede and Leather sneakers, Aisics Gel lyte Sneakers and Rag & Bone Retro Runners.
