Sandal season is upon us and I could not be happier about it. I’ve been revisiting some of my favorites in my wardrobe—like these basic leather sandals and my black ankle strap tributes—and shopping for something new for a birthday trip to Cabo. I picked up this white slide recently that I love so so much and has filled a void in my wardrobe. They’re the perfect white shade (not too white not too cream) and the style has an elongating effect on your legs especially with shorts and mini dresses. The epitome of a minimal sandal and so versatile, I’ve been wearing mine with everything lately.
Some other sandals of note… I bought the ankle strap Tribute sandal last summer and it was one of the best luxury buys of the year in my book. I have the brown Tribute slide as well and they’ve held up so nicely that I decided to get a second pair. I can’t decide which I love more between the two but it’s a style I wear so much and adds an elevated look to almost everything. For other leather favorites, I absolutely love Ancient Greek Sandals and recently discovered A.Emery that has an elevated feel for a reasonable price. I’m also really into the idea of taking these espadrilles to Cabo to wear with black staples. I haven’t owned an espadrille in years but they’re calling my name, as is a cocktail by the pool!
