Sipping my coffee in my robe as I write this. The cozy days are upon us and I love this week especially when it comes to staying in pjs a little longer, coffee runs in cozy knits and sweatpants or lazy walks to get some fresh air in between cooking or binge watching holiday movies—The Holiday and Family Stone are at the top of my list. It’s one of my favorite categories to gift at this time of year so I thought I would round up some finds that would make great gifts that someone you live will most definitely live in this coming season.
Some quick favorites I wanted to call out… fair isle sweaters! I just love them at this time of year thrown over pajamas layered under a great coat or especially out and about in the snow. I also love a classic button down pajama set in good quality cotton—the kind that just gets better with every wash. Also the kind that you can get away with slipping into public in with a great coat on top. This set under $100 I’ve had for years and gets softer and softer (also easy to get monogramed as a gift), a plaid poplin set, a classic blue and white stripe, a lacy shorts set and this silky black and white stripe.
Socks and slippers are the slam dunk gift in this category and this Shearling Moroccan pair is my favorite to gift every year. Throw in some great socks like this neutral trio that’s under $40 or these gray cashmere socks that are great for lounging or pairing with loafers.
