There’s something about summertime on the East Coast that always pulls at me, and I love it. I’ve spent time on Martha’s Vineyard and a few other coastal spots in Massachusetts and always left feeling like I could have stayed longer, much longer. I actually love the humidity (minus the affect it has on my hair) and find the expansive beaches utterly romantic with their winding fences and tall grass. The Hamptons have been high on my list of places to visit so on a recent trip to New York, we added a weeklong stay in East Hampton. Main Beach was down the road from us and it was the first place we stopped by when we checked into our house. It was exactly how I envisioned it—classic East Coast. We got pretty lucky with the weather given it was the beginning of June and I lived in easy cover ups like this one by Cynthia Rowley.
