From the start my parents have always had a major influence on my style. After living in South Africa for 5 years they were forever drawn to a safari vibe—animal prints, beaded Zulu pieces, plantation style architecture—and it couldn’t have rubbed off on me more. I found this vintage ’70s dress at the Santa Monica Vintage Expo and immediately knew I had to scoop it up. Now all I need to do is steal my dad’s rad safari hat to wear with it.
