My Jenni Kayne Mainstays

April 22, 2024

I’ve been a longtime fan of the natural, calming aesthetic that Jenni Kayne brings to the table. And as I move through different phases of my own wardrobe and home style there have been some favorites that I’ve hung on to and never grown tired off returning to with that same level of joy from the day I got it. When something has that type of longevity it’s definitely worth sharing and making note of. I rounded up the ones that have stuck out these past five years for me.

For all things Jenni Kayne you can use my code—Samantha15.

1. Relaxed Oversized Shirt—the thickness of the material is what makes this one so special. It might be a white button-down but it’s thicker than most making it function with more structure than most. I sized up to a medium and love it over white tanks for Spring/Summer. Also the boxy shape is perfection and the material feels luxurious. I can vouch that it holds up well! Going on my third season with it.

2. The Cedar candle—five years ago I was invited to a Jenni Kayne retreat at Folded Hills Farm in Santa Ynez to celebrate her first book launch. We all stayed in little cottages on the property that were outfitted in all things Jenni Kayne including the Cedar candle that was burning when we checked in. I remember immediately going to see what the scent was because it was SO good. I haven’t met a candle scent (or maybe any scent?) I love more. Needless to say I’ve lost count of how many Jenni Kayne Cedar candles I have bought for myself and friends. It smells like a luxurious ranch home with a smokey, leathery vibe to it.

3. Cameron Crewneck or Everyday Sweater—my two favorites in the pullover sweater category. The Cameron is a bit chunkier but both of that cropped boxy shape that I wear over and over again with jeans. The Everyday is a bit lighter and a good styling piece if you want to tie it around your waist, something I’ve been doing lately.

4. The Flynn Sweater—you’re most classic, basic v-neck sweater that I found essential over the winter months for layering. I also wear this one with just a bra and never find it itchy. The deepness of the v-neck is perfection and layers well over a crewneck tee.

5. Dover Nesting Baskets—These baskets serve so much purpose in our home—I even used them once as Easter baskets for the girls. They have lived in our kitchen holding fruit, as a decorative piece on our bookshelves and in our living room on the coffee table.

I love popping into the Montecito store for try-ons… DM me if you ever want to see something on!

xx Samantha
