When friends ask me where they should go when they visit Santa Barbara I always tell them to swing by the Mission Rose Garden. It’s a gem of a spot with perfectly kept roses, a giant grassy lawn for picnics and the stunning Mission in the background (no really, it’s a pretty phenomenal view). Lucky for me this pretty spot is in my neighborhood so morning walks and spontaneous wine nights are aplenty during the summertime. Right now the roses are in their prime and I’ve been finding every reason to visit them.
