New York is a city that I will always have a soft spot for. Fortunately I get to visit it at least a few times a year for work and every time I find myself enamored with it all. There’s an energy and buzz that you just don’t find anywhere else and it’s especially evident during Fashion Week. I’ll never forget my very first fashion show and the way it literally made my heart stop. The way the lights go dim, a loud music beat kicking in, cameras flashing and models stomping by in new and exciting styles never gets old for me. I’m reminded of how much I love this industry and being a part of it and I pinch myself that I’m actually living my dream. This year I kicked off the season with BCBG and was lucky enough to wear a piece from their Resort collection (coming soon!). A flowy, floral number was just up my NYFW alley.
