It’s rare that we get to pull out fun coats here on the West Coast. It’s a blessing yet a curse especially when you fall in love with one that hardly gets off the hangar. Confession: winter trips to the East Coast or San Francisco revolve around what coat I’m going to wear, it’s a big deal. But when it makes sense I jump at the chance to throw on a statement coat at home. A red coat has been on my mind for sometime now and I recently found one that’s the perfect weight for a chilly southern California day from Everly—not too heavy and warm but the perfected added layer over a tee shirt.
