Nothing makes me happier then getting an invitation to a wedding in the mail. Now that a majority of our friends have already gotten hitched, what used to be a flurry of “Save The Date!” announcements has morphed into “It’s a Girl!” Not that I’m complaining, both are equally (if not more on the latter) exciting, but a giant party that involves a dance floor is just plan f-u-n, plus everyone gets dolled up—no surprise I’m a fan of that.
Last year was a rough one, not a single wedding on the calendar. I found myself craving wedding cake and even watched Wedding Crashers to fill the void. Cue the violin. But things are looking up for 2017, we’ve received not one, but TWO invites in the mail—can you hear the bells? So I figured I’d tackle the topic we’re all starting to wrap our brains around, dressing for a wedding.
Spring weddings always seem to be outside amongst everything that is blooming, and rightly so. While the sun is shining, there’s definitely a chill in the air which means long sleeves and an extra layer are always a good idea.
