Maybe it’s the hot temperatures that rolled in this week or maybe its just a sign that I’m mentally ready for summer, either way I’m gravitating towards my swimsuit drawer in a big way. Even more specifically those crisp, clean white suits that have a way of enhancing a tan. But before I spun out of control hitting “buy” I decided a quick overhaul of my current swimsuit drawer was in order.
Side note: swimsuits are my weakness. Ever since I was a kid I loved finding different styles, colors, patterns and shapes. And since I grew up on the beach they all got plenty of play. Not much has changed, I still find myself with a bikini drawer that is busting at the seams and a strong desire to bask in the sun. But I have figured out what works on my body and what doesn’t—especially since having a baby. I’m much more into one-piece suits, high waisted bottoms and one shoulder styles.
This style (Palm Springs Bikini in Coconut) from Marysia has been a favorite because it’s incredibly comfortable and I love how the style feels very Bridgette Bardot—plus this ties, I love those ties. I have zero curves but I would imagine this could look amazing on someone who does.
After deciding what was staying and going I got to work hunting down some new favorites. Here are ten styles I’m coveting for the sunny months ahead. What style do you gravitate towards?
