Remember this leopard Ganni dress? I love it so much I decided to find other ways of wearing it that didn’t require a wedding invitation. This time of year is the best for layering and getting creative with your wardrobe especially if you have some slip-like dresses. It’s a pretty easy formula that goes like this—your coziest chunky knit thrown over a feminine silky skirt or dress paired with running shoes. A functional way of dressing down those less casual pieces.
One of the tricks to layering is sticking to an agreeable color palette. I’m a sucker for earthy, sandy tones and burnt shades. From there I build off of a grouping and throw in a print and some texture—knits, woven accessories or even embroidered details. I’ve been loving an autumn color combo mixed with a leopard print, which almost works as a neutral.
