Yesterday was one of those perfectly sunny Spring days that was forecasted to be in the 70’s—hot compared to what we’ve had lately.
First I got excited and then I realized while pacing my closet that I was completely uninspired by anything hanging in my closet for a “hot day.” I literally couldn’t make up my mind and everything felt… “meh” when I tried it on. All this time I was really getting into those layers and relishing in the “cooler Spring days.” So I spent much of the day yesterday finding new inspiration for the season ahead and all those hot weather days on the horizon.
While I found some new pieces (a few under $100 that I’ll share), one thing is for sure, whatever I’ll be wearing I know I’ll be throwing in some pearls here and there. I love the feminine touch, especially with neutrals, mixed with other everyday gold pieces or in the form of a clip in my hair—which by the way is probably the cheapest Spring trend out there right now.
I picked up a set via Amazon for under $10 and bonus, Elin is into wearing them too so we’re getting good use of our buy. I also love how it feels very Margot Tenanbaum, girly with a vintage vibe.
Nothing says Spring like a new pair of sunnies! I snagged this tortoise shell pair by Illesteva and love the frame. The cat-eye shape has been updating some of my older Spring pieces giving my looks some new life.
