Since I can remember, I’ve always had an overflowing drawer of swimsuits. And no matter where I’m going in the world, I never leave home without one. I guess that comes with the territory of growing up 2 minutes from the beach. I’d like to say that I grew out of the obsession, but that’s not the case. I still get a thrill out of a new swimsuit and all the sunshiny times I could have in it. I come from a long line of sun worshipers and plan to take after my grandmother who wore a bikini well into her 90’s, she had an epic tan.

I’m pretty sure I’m not alone when I say, I’m more than ready to put on a bikini, relax in the sun and live that summer lifestyle.

I’ve had a bit of bikini fever lately so I rounded up some of my favorites for the season ahead. I’m all about feeling comfortable when in a swimsuit so I made sure to share brands that I’ve tried on, trust and love the fit and quality of. If I missed any that you guys love please share! Gingham

Marysia single handedly made me fall in love with gingham swimwear this season. And since I picked up one of hers I’ve spotted a few others that I love.

The Basics

As I mentioned before, my main goal when picking swimwear is to feel comfortable. And while I love prints and colors here and there, I always rely on basic black or white to enhance my tan or compliment my figure. There’s something undeniably classic about a minimal suit and I believe everyone should have one in their bikini drawer.

Earthy Sunset Shades

I love an earth tone or anything that mimics that late afternoon color palette. It’s my favorite time of a summer day especially sitting on a beach, with that sun-kissed feeling.
