I’ve been really sinking into the season over here but it felt official the minute I pulled out this sweater (pictured above). Fair isle sweaters are one of my absolute favorites because they feel like a piece of the past and iconically represent fall and winter, an escape to the mountains and a sense of cozy! They’re timeless to their core. I have a collection now but every year there’s one that steals my heart and I never regret the purchase.
I rounded up some favorites for you below but wanted to touch on a few things I love to style with these classic sweaters and how I’ve been wearing them lately.
The vintage sense of these sweaters makes me instantly want to pair with them with equally timeless things… a great worn in pair of Levi’s, some well-loved loafers or boat shoes…
These have been a favorite as I’ve mentioned before, the tassel is just so good—lot’s of sizes available here!
Another thing these sweaters make me think of is being out in the countryside or in the mountains! Barn coats, ranch coats are so good over these… this one is such a find as it reminds me of the popular Prada one… or this one that is a richer brown.
Over pajamas is my favorite… nothing feels like holiday more to me than this combo with a great pair of moccasin slippers. It’s coming for us guys, the holidays are around the corner. But seriously, never too early to grab some fresh pajamas… we just got the entire family (bear included) this cute print from Eberjey. I also love a classic white cotton set.
