I’ve been day dreaming about Spring this week. More specifically my Spring wardrobe, one of the most fun seasons to transition into.
A couple of weeks ago we had a few days when it warmed up, the sun was shining and everybody started joking that Spring was here. Well, not entirely, it rained straight for about a week shortly after so the joke was on us—or me, the girl who slipped on a pretty Dôen floral dress and started picking flowers and picnicking, ha! But at least we got some pictures for some pretty Spring inspiration. But ever since this day I’ve been shopping feverishly for the season ahead. Here’s what I have up my sleeve for those sunnier days ahead.
I’m super picky when it comes to my prints, especially floral prints. I prefer subtle colors and tiny designs for the most part. My go-to is usually all things Dôen for this department. Every print they come up with always feels timeless and sophisticated—like this one pictured. But all in all, I’m always looking for the soft faded floral prints for my spring wardrobe.
From earrings to hair clips, resin is making a comeback and I’m finding myself totally into it! I 100% credit this to a line called Valet Studio that makes the prettiest pastel shades, seashell hair clips and cool retro earrings. It’s literally like candy and I want it all. Could I Have That?
Seashells And Pearls
I’ve fallen back in love with jewelry and accessories lately. I credit the discovery of a handful of brands, most importantly Coqui. It feels so fresh and different yet simple and cool. So cool, I’m scheduling an appointment to get a second piercing. Let the earring party begin.
There’s something about the darkest days of winter that make me crave sunshine and light tones. I’ve been spotting a ton of earthy tones lately and since it’s already something that agrees with my coloring, I’m fully on board with the trend. I’m currently eyeing the most amazing new Mansur Gavriel pleated bucket bag that comes in there earthy colors—thinking Brandy all the way!
