My November Essentials

November 4, 2019

This past week I got a fresh hair cut, picked up some new pieces (including these new Freda Salvador boots and Magali Pascal dress) and changed the calendar which felt so good and slightly daunting at the same time since we have so much to do before baby comes.

But back to my wardrobe. Here’s what I’m excited to wear this month and a few other pieces I plan on picking up. With the weather slowly cooling down (evenings and mornings call for layering or sweaters, yippee!) I’ve been digging into my knitwear and thin coats.

Boots

Now more than ever a good pair of boots makes a wardrobe go ’round, no matter what coast you may be on. I’ve been wearing my favorite Stuart Weitzman Wren boots (still a favorite for the last couple of years) and Isabel Marant Dewina boot I found on sale last year post Christmas. My latest favorite I can’t live without are these Freda Salvador Fia Point Toe Boots

Hats

I love piling on layers and topping it off with a good hat. I’m a die-hard Janessa Leoné fan not only because I love all the styles but also since her hats are so well made they last! While I do have a black wool felt hat that I love so so much I’m coveting the Lennon in that rich chocolate shade

Turtlenecks

There’s something classic and timeless about a turtleneck and let’s face it, it’s a solid layer when it’s really cold. I love layering with a basic black turtleneck or chunky knits.
