I’ve been going to La Quinta since I was 2 years old and it’s hands down one of my favorite places in the world. The warm nights, Spanish-style architecture, poolside days, that desert heat, the sounds and smells… I can go on. We’ve been twice this Spring and it’s not enough if you ask me. I’ve been on a real desert kick, partly because it feels like such an easy, getaway with the girls right now—a short 4 hour drive away—but mostly because my mom is there and the times with her and the girls is priceless.

Now that we’re venturing out more for weekend trips, I got the sweetest overnight and toiletry bags for the girls and myself from Sezane. There are so many sweet floral prints and they just added the happiest pastels. Speaking of pastels, I can’t seem to get enough these days from this J.Crew pleated dress to sweet finds for the girls—Minnow suit, Olivier London sunhats and swimsuits and Bonpoint.
