This month my outfits have been fueled by a certain pair of vintage Levi’s I got from Jean Genie Vintage Shop—highly recommend checking out her shop. She was super helpful figuring out my size and I absolutely love this pair that she sent me. I get asked a lot where I find my vintage jeans and I’m adding this amazing source to my list, which also includes Loveworn in Santa Barbara and the General Store in Venice.
My go-to lately has been pairing my new jeans with the Freda Salvador Elba loafers (I have a code for all things Freda 15Samantha) or these Mary Jane square toe flats. Also loving my favorite Khaite Dallas boots on cooler days/nights. Something about the sophistication of a loafer makes me reach for oversized cozy turtleneck sweaters—living in this black one and this soft oatmeal one. I caught the worst cold from Lila and lived in these sweaters with sweatpants, socks and jeans if I pulled myself together enough. Essential for these cozy months if you ask me!
I’ve broken into my coat closet this past week and could not be happier about it. Also added this light neutral wool (but so so soft) Jenni Kayne coat and was happily surprised at the length of it—I’m wearing the medium and I’m 5’8″. Just about ankle grazing length, which can be hard to find. Wearing it with my turtleneck sweaters and boots although it’s begging for a city trip. I also pulled out this leather and shearling Acne Studios jacket that I forgot how much I love. It’s so warm and so cool, especially paired with the Khaite Dallas boot.
While my November uniform has been denim and sweaters lately I’ve been choosing bags with a little more going on to balance the basic undercurrent. This studded khaite bag has been a favorite (similar vibe for $69) and this striped tote. Also using The Row Margaux bag quite a bit lately, so classic for fall with loafers and a great coat. Also I’ve gotten so many questions lately on my cell phone case/chain… I’ve become obsessed with the Ossa New York designs and they just came out with their holiday collection that is so so good. I got my first one out of necessity (left my phone on a plane, twice in one month) and these really do help keep better track of your phone—in your bag and on you.
Lastly I’m so excited to share a new discount code with you that my friends at Illesteva gave me…
