New York State of Mind

October 5, 2010

My trip to New York was nothing short of endless fun that was a marathon of amazing meals, meeting up with friends, sugary treats, late nights, shopping and learning my way around the big city. My over-packing came in handy since the weather went from hot and humid to cool and windy, with a little rain here and there. I lived in ballet flats, skinny jeans, Alexander Wang tanks and my trench coat. I fell in love with my friend’s Soho neighborhood and swore that if I could ever convince my beau to move that we would live in one of the classic brownstone buildings close to Birdbath bakery—home of the best cookies I’ve ever had. Aside from all the indulgences, spending time laughing and having the time of my life with three of my best friends was the most memorable part of my six days in the city.
