This past weekend the beau and I made a quick trip to Palm Springs to visit my incredibly cool grandparents. We took them to lunch at The Parker, played their favorite dominos game Mexican Train and shared some unforgettable laughs. I fell in love with the boutique hotel we stayed at called the Colony Palms Hotel. It had that old school Palm Springs vibe but with an exotic spin. Here are some snaps from our impromptu weekend. Side note: I read my 91-year-old grandmother all the sweet comments everyone made on the picture I posted of her here and it was priceless to see her smile, blush a little and say, I’m famous!

My favorite part about the Colony Palms Hotel was the lush grounds with tons of private areas to relax, unwind and soak in the heat.
