Bits and Tips: Foodie Friday

Food can be an instant mood lifter in my book. Even if it’s as simple as a perfectly ripe piece of fruit the effect of something pleasing to the taste buds is grand if you ask me. This past week was exceptionally delicious between dining out in LA at GjelinaPace and Dominick’s and getting a batch of perfectly sweet grapefruits from Palm Springs (thanks mom!). Here’s a look at a few foodie highlights.

 Roasted bartlet pears with burrata and bacon at Gjelina.
A coconut cream cheese cupcake from Crushcakes Cafe in Santa Barbara.
Home cooked breakfast favorite: poached egg on arugula and avocado toast.
