Gone With The Peach

One thing I always look forward to every summer is peach season. And not because they’re incredibly delicious and sweet (because they are) but it gives me the chance to channel my inner Scarlett O’Hara—and quote the movie over and over again. Thanks to a large crate of peaches and good old Paula Deen, I may have eaten my way to Georgia this past week by making the best peach cobbler ever. I used this recipe and accidentally spilled a little Southern Comfort into the mix (oops), making it that much easier to dose off in the sun somewhere, or start talking in a southern accent.
