Eat Your Greens

I’ll be the first to admit that my diet doesn’t always include as many healthy greens as it should. On busy days I seem to crave carbs and sugar that are far too accessible and easy to make (or order) which always results in low energy—a lose lose. So lately I’ve been making an effort to squeeze in some greens in an easy and quick way. Enter, the kale spinach smoothie on the go. In the mornings or even for an afternoon snack I’ve been blending a little juice (orange or pineapple), kale, spinach, green apple and pineapple for a tasty yet über healthy treat. And an added perk to eating more greens? Healthier skin. Now that’s a win, win.
