During the summer months spontaneous plans and guests are a frequent thing. I always intend to be one of those effortlessly prepared hosts who can whip up something quickly but I always end up getting overly ambitious with my ideas. Some friends recently entertained us with a lunchtime charcuterie board and I realized it was the perfect solution for those last minute gatherings. I’ve been making an effort to have all the ingredients ready to go each week (just in case) and what doesn’t get used I incorporate into our dinners. Here are my charcuterie board essentials.
{ Olives from the Whole Foods in a weck jar for easing storing and serving. }
{ Mustard displayed in a ceramic shot glass. }
{ Salmi, Italian prosciutto, soft sheep and goat cheeses and fresh focaccia bread. }
