March in Marrakech (Part III)

March 17, 2014

March in Marrakech From the hustle and bustle of Marrakech we ventured into the Atlas Mountains above the city, home to Berber villages. From the moment we hit the windy road, a sense of peacefulness came over us. The air was cooler, forrest like trees took over and the pace slowed down. A tranquil side of Morocco took over as we checked into Kasbah Tamadot, Sir Richard Branson’s retreat. Our room was a berber tent (more to come of this amazing set up) with a private patio overlooking a riverbed and neighboring Berber village. The first thing we did was soak in the view.

One thing I made sure to pack was a favorite romper I found in the Nordstrom indy contemporary collection—a favorite selection of designers like Diane von Furstenberg, Joie, Vince, Theory and many more. The animal print caught my attention right away for my Africa bound adventure.

Diane von Furstenberg romper, Vince scarf, Ray Ban Aviators, Cynthia Vincent sandals (similar), fringe bag found in the souks (similar), Vita Fede cuff, Jennifer Fisher cuff, Ariel Gordon ring.
