Southeast Asia is one area of the world that I know very little about. Which is why this next stop World Odyssey has chosen as one of their top ten places to go this summer is utterly intriguing to me. Borneo, one of the larger islands in Asia, is home to a lush rainforest where you can swim in waterfalls, float down the Danum river, go on jungle treks and view the roaming wildlife (elephants, orangutans, birds, gibbons, wildcats, deer and more). Borneo Rainforest Lodge is a dreamy spot with treehouse-like chalets to soak in the misty, tropical setting. The treetop canopy walk alone grabbed my attention.
