Bump Style (Part II)

October 8, 2014

Like most body shapes and sizes, certain wardrobe essentials can make your world go around. Such has been the case for me since discovering the importance of a basic white maternity tee. Like I’ve mentioned before, I had the mindset when I was newly pregnant that I wouldn’t cave to the maternity section and instead find creative ways of dressing myself. Boy did I underestimate what these times would be like and how much you just need those simple basics to fit you. For me a white tee is something I rely on as an everyday layering piece. Once I hit my third trimester nearly every top seemed to be just a hair too short and sloppy looking. So I decided to go on the hunt for the perfect white maternity tee. Turns out there are a ton to choose from but my favorite option has been the slub cotton top from Old Navy.

Here are three looks styled with my #2 bump style essential: the basic white tee.

Outfit credits in order of appearance: Old Navy tee, Anine Bing skirt, DKNY sweater, Ash booties (similar), James Jeans, Gladys Tamez hat (similar in black), Jonathan Adler scarf, Vince heels, vintage coat (similar option), Anine Bing leather shorts (similar), Ashley B wool coat, Gladys Tamez Bianca hat, Mara & Mine Nolita shoes.
