Four Seasons The Biltmore

When our anniversary popped up on the calendar, I wanted to do something special for the occasion. This year may only be three years of marriage, however it also marked numero 15 of being together—holy moly where did the time go! We were babies when we met and experienced our ups, downs, ons, offs throughout the years but I can honestly say I feel like I have the same schoolgirl crush on him that I had all those years ago. For that I feel incredibly lucky. Needless to say a celebration of sorts was in order. The conversation started big, with talk of jetting off somewhere far but what we landed on wasn’t more than a handful of miles away—The Four Seasons Resort The Biltmore. Turns out a staycation is probably the most relaxing vacation you can ask for—no traffic, no rushing, no TSA and very little packing. But the best part was how we got some sweet time with Elin and some without, thank goodness for grandparents. We hit the spa, slept in, went to our favorite restaurant and had a poolside cocktail without interruption. It was just what we wanted/needed.
